Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak invites application for admission to 65% seats of BAMS/BHMS courses for the session 2011 in private self financing Ayurvedic/Homeopathic colleges of Haryana as per the following schedule.

B.H.M.S

Eligibility:

1. B.A.M.S

He / She will attain the age of 17 years or more on 31-12-2011.
The Candidate must have :-
a) Passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 Class) of the Board of School Education, Haryana or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto with atleast 33% marks in each subject i.e. English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany Zoology) in the theory and practical separately and 50% marks in aggregate of these subjects and pass in Sanskrit as an elective/core subject of atleast 100 marks.
OR
Uttar Madhyama of Sampurnanad Sanskrit, Vishwavidyala, Varanasi with Science (Biology Group) and English.
OR
Any other examination recognised by Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak as equivalent to (a) above with the prescribed percentage of marks/subjects, as the case may be.

2. B.H.M.S:

He / She will attain the age of 17 years or more on 31-12-2011.
The Candidate must have :-
a) Passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 Class) of the Board of School Education, Haryana or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto with atleast 33% marks in each subject i.e. English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany Zoology) in the theory and practical separately.

Note :

For candidates belonging to SC & BC, aggregate marks will be read as 40 % instead of 50 % in any one of the above examination.
A candidate who has taken admission in B.A.M.S. and has not passed Sanskrit at 10+2 level prior to admission in B.A.M.S., shall have to offer Sanskrit in B.A.M.S. 1st Prof. Examination.
The subject of English of 10+2 or equivalent examination may be accepted for the purpose irrespective of marks assigned to it.
The candidates passing qualifying examination from National Open School are also eligible provided they fulfill the eligibility conditions - laid down as above.
Diploma in Pharmacy & Dresser’s course are not equivalent to 10+2 for the purpose of admission to B.A.M.S. Course.
The list of the examination recognised as equivalent to 10+2 examination of Board of School Education, Haryana is available in the Academic Branch of Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences.
There shall be no reservation for admission to BAMS/BHMS.
There will be no negative marking.

Course Duration: The duration of course shall be 5 ½ years including compulsory rotating internship.

Fee Structure: The fee structure for B.A.M.S. course in Private Unaided Ayurvedic institutions in Haryana for the session 2011-12 will be 75,900/- per student per annum. & (Rs. 68500/- per student per annum for BHMS, subject to approval of State Fee Committee).
