About KUK: Kurukshetra University was established in 1956 as a unitary residential University. It is located on the western bank of Brahm Sarovar in the holy city of Kurukshetra, the land of the historical Mahabharata. The university is a member of The Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The University apart from being recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC), it has also been graded with 'A' grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
