Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Board (HPSSSB), Hamirpur invites applications through its Advertisment No. 20/2011 Dated : 17-09-2011 on prescribed application format from eligible candidates for the for the eligibility for the posts of Trained Graduate Teacher(Arts, Non-Medical, Medical), Shastri and Language Teacher. Minimum eligibility conditions for the Teacher Eligibility Test ( TET)

1. For Trained Graduate Teachers(Arts):

B.A./B.Com. with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) OR
B.A./B.Com. with at least 45% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition norms and Procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year B.A.Ed. OR
B.A./B.Com. with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) Special Education.

2. For Trained Graduate Teachers(Non-Medical):

B.Sc.(NM) with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR
B.Sc. (NM) with at least 45% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition norms and Procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) OR
Senior Secondary ( or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year B.Sc. (NM)/Ed OR
B.Sc.(NM) with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) Special Education.

3. For Trained Graduate Teachers(Medical):

B.Sc.(Medical) with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) OR
B.Sc. (Medical) with at least 45% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition norms and Procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) OR
Senior Secondary ( or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year B.Sc. (Medical)/Ed OR
B.Sc.(Medical) with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) Special Education.

4. For Shastri:

Shastri with 50% marks from an institution/University recognized by H.P. Government.

5. For Language Teacher

BA with Hindi as an elective subject from a recognized University with 50% marks in Hindi or its equivalent. OR
The candidates who have passed Prabhakar (Honours in Hindi) followed by BA Examination in English and one additional subject may be treated as equivalent to BA with Hindi for appointment to the post of Language Teacher provided the candidates have secured 50% marks in Prabhakar examination. OR
M.A. (Hindi) with 50% marks from a recognized University.

Note :- Relaxation of 5% in educational qualification for SC/ST/PH candidates.

Examination Fee :- Rs. 500/- for General category candidates and Rs. 200/- for Reserved category candidates. Examination fee must be paid through Bank Draft OR Indian Postal Order (IPO) in the name of the Secretary, Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Board, Hamirpur HP payable at Hamirpur.

How to Apply for HP TET 2011 :- Apply on Annexure-‘A’ available in advetisment and at HPSSSB website. Filled application form complete in all respect along with must be sent to the Secretary, Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Board, Hamirpur HP - 177 001 on or before 17th October, 2011.

Last Date :- 17th October, 2011 (31st October, 2011 for Lahul and Spiti, Kinnaur, Pangi and Bharmour of Chamba and Dodra Kwar of Shimla)
