UGC Special Assistance Programe (SAP)-DRS I



Applications are invited on a plain paper from eligible candidates for the post of Project Fellow under UGC Special Assistance Programme (SAP) –DRS I in the Department of Statistics, M. D.University, Rohtak during the tenure of the programme (i.e. upto 31.03.2015) only.


Project Fellow (under UGC Special Assistance Programme (SAP) –DRS I)
Consolidated Salary: Rs. 8000/-(Rupees eight thousand only) pm.
Basic Qualifications:

1. The candidate should have passed MA/M Sc in Mathematics Statistics/ Statistics/Operations Research/ Mathematics with at least second class preferably above 55% (50% in case of SC/ST/PH) or M.Phil in the subject concerned or a related subject.
2. The candidate should be below the age of 40 years at the time of appointment.
3. Preference will be given to candidates with a research aptitude in the area of Sampling Theory and Econometrics.
4. Candidates having knowledge of English language with basic computer skills will be preferred.Applications should reach the undersigned on or before July 5, 2011 either through post or email or by hand.



Interview Schedule: Interview will be conducted on 12.07.2011 at 10:00 AM in the Office of the HOD, Statistics, M. D. University, Rohtak. No TA/DA is admissible and no separate letter for attending the interview will be sent to the candidates.
