Haryana Govt Spent Rs 300 Cr for Computer Education in 2,500 Schools

Haryana government has spent Rs 300 crore for providing computer education in over 2,500 ten-plus-two schools.

This was stated by Education Minister Geeta Bhukkal while interacting with the media persons in Jhajjar yesterday.

She said that well equipped computer labs had already been set up in most of the schools.

The work of repair and maintenance of these computers had also been handed over to the concerned companies for smooth functioning of the entire system.

Lauding the efforts of State Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda in this direction, she said that it was due to his progressive thinking that Government schools were being geared up to provide qualitative education.

She said that the present State government was striving to create a better academic environment in all the Government schools.

Further, the rationalisation of the teachers was also being done on the basis of number of students so that students could get proper attention.

Ms Bhukkal said that the unique initiative of starting additional classes of science streams during the summer vacations in Government schools had borne fruitful results.

She added that the Education Department would continue in its efforts to implement such qualitative improvements in the field of education.

Besides this, Mid-Day Meal scheme too was being implemented in the Government schools with greater improvements.

The State Government would soon launch a scheme for ensuring education for the children of nomadic tribes too, she said.

She said that it was very encouraging that the Prime Minister had appreciated the efforts of the Haryana Government in the field of education, especially the provision of pre-matric scholarships, in the recently held two-day annual conference of the Social Justice and Empowerment Ministers in Delhi.

The Minister also informed that the Technical Education Department has released the examination schedule for those students of Polytechnics who had missed out on the same. These exams would be held from June 29 to July 4, she said.

HTET AFTER 15 AUGUST

Most of Salaried persons may not avail This exemption this year !!why?

* This circular is Good for Salaried persons But Most of them is not able to fulfill conditions given in the Notification. Very few employees declared saving Bank interest to their employer . Even employer are reluctant to consider other income of assessee for Tds deduction .So due to this reason most of the salaried person having total Income can not avail exemption given under this notification. If the circular has been issued in Feb-March 2011 then position may have changed.
* Second Point is Interest Limit has been fixed up to 10000 only.Further that is also restricted to saving bank interest only .Person having salaried income up to 500000 may have FDR Interest or other Interest income . I am not able to under stand ,why nature of Interest has been restricted if monetary limit has already been specified . Now person having FDR interest plus saving interest less than 10000 can not avail this Exemption also.

RTET ON 31st OF JULY,ONLINE APPLICATION FROM 22 JUNE

</div>

With Physics, Chemistry and Maths as the main subjects in 10+2, engineering is one of the main career options open. For engineering, one can prepare for entrance exams like AIEEE or the IIT-JEE to pursue a career in engineering.

If not successful in engineering, one can do a Bachelor's degree as BCA, B.Sc.(IT) or B.Sc.(CS) and follow it with a M.Sc.(IT) or MCA to enter into the IT sector.

A normal B.Sc. followed with M.Sc. and Ph.D can be a career in academics. One can also join the merchant navy by doing a course in marine engineering.

Apart from engineering, one can separately specialize in Physics, Chemistry or Maths i.e., according to the subject of his/her interest.

Today, Mathematics and Statistics are becoming popular subjects owing to their application in a wide field of study and research. A bachelor's degree in mathematics will prepare one for fascinating jobs in statistics, actuarial sciences, mathematical modeling, and cryptography; for teaching; as well as for graduate school leading to a research career in mathematics or statistics. A strong background in mathematics is also necessary for research in many areas of computer science, social science, and engineering.

A physics graduate basically do research work in various research and development establishments and government departments. Those who are having specializations in astrophysics, astronomy, geophysics, nuclear physics, meteorology can make career in respective fields. To facilitate both intensive and extensive study of physics, it has been divided into several branches.
